  • The EACS allows individuals like me to freely explore our creativity and musicality by assembling a concert program we are passionate about and feel connected to.

This allows a genuine delivery of the concert, ensuring a positive experience for performers and audiences.

Guiding an audience through an immersive musical story provides an invaluable experience for emerging performers.

    Harpist and composer

  • Providing us with the chance to perform original material for an engaged and quiet audience is a rare opportunity and a true gift! I had an amazing time throughout the entire process of putting a set together.

Working with a videographer and sound engineer was a great learning experience! Being part of this program inspired me to continue creating music, and I am grateful for that.

    Shalani Thomas (22)
    Singer/Song writer from Wollongong

  • The program was great for emerging artists; it allowed us to dive into the community in a relaxed, open way. It gave us gratification for our commitment to our art and the space to make our voices heard.

    Michael Dominis (23)
    Jazz pianist and improvisor

  • Sharing is crucial to the art of music-making; it is only made possible if there are people and a concert space to play. Performing a program multiple times inspires flexibility and spontaneity.

Every audience and concert setting stimulates a different kind of energy for us to bounce off. I am dedicated to giving the gift of music to others, and the EACS is creating opportunities for us to connect with the community.

Classical Pianist – First Class Honours Graduate of Sydney Conservatorium of Music
